Basic Function

As member of the IT department, you have a security focus while maintaining the IT infrastructure. Working with the system and process owners, along with domain architects on maintaining a secure IT landscape. Ensuring the protection and integrity of our organization's IT infrastructure. Applying a deep understanding of computer networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity measures.

Principal Responsibilities:

Security Administration
Summary: Maintaining and improving a secure IT infrastructure

  • Monitor computer network for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity

  • Troubleshoot and resolve security issues

  • Implement strategies to protect devices and systems from cyberattacks.

  • Assess the IT systems and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

  • Advise and collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to potential threats.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.

  • Provide training and guidance to staff on security best practices.

Infrastructure Administration

Summary: Providing advanced technical maintenance support to functional owners, end users and within IT. Participation in projects from the Project Office and IT Operations team.

  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, network, and application issues

  • Provide system agnostic troubleshooting assistance, finding the root cause for issues.

  • Participate in projects to test and implement the system in new locations.

  • Participate in projects to test and deploy new features to the organization.

  • Cooperate with IT teams in implementations and bug fixing

  • Participate in the Service Desk function for escalated tickets

  • Execution of project tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in IT security, network security, or a related role.

  • Strong understanding of computer networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles.

  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure solutions (Azure / M365)

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus.

  • Experience with cloud security and virtualization technologies.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,061 - $98,887 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
