Core responsibilities

Overview: The Manager of Cybersecurity Assessment Services will oversee the end-to-end process of delivering cybersecurity assessments at a specific location. This role includes the daily management of team assignments, monitoring assessment progress, managing team performance, and ensuring the continuous development and training of team members. The manager will report to the Director of Cybersecurity Assessment Services and ensure alignment with global strategies and practices. The primary responsibility is to ensure the daily management of the team and assessments at the local level.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management and Development:
  • Manage the team by providing daily support, coaching, and guidance to cybersecurity analysts to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Develop and monitor training and development programs, ensuring they are aligned with the latest cybersecurity trends and methodologies. Participate in hiring and recruitment processes and follow up on onboarding new hires.
    2. Assessment delivery and vendor management
  • Allocate cybersecurity assessments to team members based on expertise and workload, ensuring clear understanding of responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing assessments and address issues promptly to ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with client-oriented teams to ensure efficient handling of client queries and project assignments.
  • Handle and resolve queries and requirements from vendors efficiently.
  • Coordinate and manage the team’s cases with vendors to ensure timely resolution.

      3.  Reporting and Coordination with Cybersecurity assessment services director

  • Report all relevant topics, including assessment status, team performance, and any significant issues, to the Cybersecurity Assessment Services Director
  • Ensure alignment of local operations with global strategies and practices.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions to share insights and receive guidance.

Knowledge and competences required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in managing teams of 40+ people
  • Strong experience dealing with clients & external stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in developing and tracking performance metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in using project management and performance tracking software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
