 Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Program Manager to provide strategic leadership and overall guidance to a high-visibility, large-scale cybersecurity program. This individual will act as the primary interface between the government and contractors, ensuring successful execution of cybersecurity-related tasks as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the coordination, performance, and delivery of the project, overseeing resources, schedules, and ensuring compliance with all project and cybersecurity standards.


The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of project management experience, including significant experience managing large governmental or civilian cybersecurity programs. They will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and industry standards, and demonstrate the ability to manage multi-faceted teams and deliver high-quality results within strict timelines.


Qualifications

  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of project management experience, including at least 3 years in a Program Manager role supporting large governmental or civilian programs.
    • 5+ years of experience in the Cybersecurity industry, including knowledge of policies, procedures, technical standards, and methods.
    • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and others.
    • 7+ years of experience in coordinating subcontractors and team members to ensure alignment and project success.
    • Extensive experience in general management and auditing techniques, including identifying problems, analyzing information, and implementing corrective actions.
    • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering and Data Analysis task management.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and ensure the technical correctness, timeliness, and quality of deliverables, including implementing corporate and client quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Program Oversight: Provide overall direction and guidance for the program, ensuring alignment with government objectives and contractor capabilities. Manage day-to-day operations to ensure the program meets milestones, goals, and contractual requirements.
  • Serve as the primary interface between the government and contractors, fostering communication and collaboration to ensure program success. Regularly update stakeholders on progress, risks, and challenges.
  • Lead program planning efforts, manage resources, schedules, and budgets, and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure successful delivery of program deliverables.
  • Ensure that the program adheres to industry best practices in cybersecurity, including policies, procedures, and technical standards. Provide guidance to team members on technical approaches and methodologies.
  • Coordinate efforts across subcontractors and internal teams, ensuring all team members understand roles, responsibilities, and timelines. Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to the program’s success, developing contingency plans as needed to address any potential challenges.
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet technical and quality standards, maintaining accountability for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Utilize management and auditing techniques to assess project progress, gather relevant data, analyze information, and develop solutions to improve program performance and efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, offering guidance on project management practices, cybersecurity standards, and professional development.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Certifications: PMP and/or CISSP certifications required.

Experience:

    • 7+ years of experience managing large cybersecurity programs, with at least 3 years in a Program Manager role supporting government or civilian projects.
    • At least 5 years of experience working within the cybersecurity industry, with knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and technical standards.
    • Proficiency with project management tools including MS Project, SharePoint, and others.
    • Experience coordinating efforts of subcontractors and internal teams for program success.
    • Strong background in general management and auditing techniques to identify problems, analyze information, and implement solutions.
    • At least 5 years of experience in guiding Systems Engineering and Data Analysis tasks.
    • Proven ability to ensure the technical correctness, quality, and timeliness of deliverables.

Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with government officials, contractors, and team members.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
    • Proven leadership ability, capable of motivating and managing diverse teams.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance
