Job Summary:

We are looking for a bilingual Systems, Network, and Security Administrator who will design, implement, maintain, monitor and optimise the company servers, network, and security posture. You will lead and participate in projects that bring value to the organisation’s infrastructure as well as ensure the high availability and security of our network, firewalls, and servers, and assist with complex issues and general day-to-day support activities.Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the security of systems, platforms, networks, and all other aspects of the computing environment, including the protection of data integrity and confidentiality;
• Infrastructure maintenance and optimization: Windows Server, Active Directory, virtual servers/environments, network security policies, firewalls, routers and switches, hardware/device support (laptops, IP phones, etc.), LAN/WANs, etc.;
• Following the security directives, you will assist in planning the configuration of the network equipment, defining and managing the firewall rules. You will also investigate attempted breaches, take action to remedy security weaknesses and conduct security testing at regular intervals;
• Conduct scheduled maintenance activities as well as IT security updates, system updates/upgrades, software and patch deployments;
• Keep constant vigil and benchmarking for new core technologies or new ways of using existing technologies to support the global enterprise architecture;
• Prepare high-level business cases for implementing recommended technology standardisation solutions;
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues through to resolution. This includes working with vendors to resolve complex network problems;
• Develop and maintain accurate and current documentation and records pertaining to all areas of accountability;
• Provide on-call support and participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent;
• 5 to 7 years of industry experience in network and systems administration, level 2-3 technical support, etc. in a Windows/Linux environment (Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, network routing, switching, Firewalls, MPLS, Wi-Fi, WSUS, G-Suite, Cloud infrastructure (AWS, OCI, GCP, Azure), endpoint protection, VPN, Encryption, Secure Communication, etc.);
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work on several files simultaneously and manage priorities;
• Have an agile mindset towards delivery;
• Available to offer technical support outside of business hours.
