About the area/department:

The application security department requires a knowledgeable practitioner and project manager to support our effort to provide customers with secure products across Amadeus Hospitality.

Summary of the Role:

Security and privacy of our platforms and applications are of utmost importance for Amadeus. We have legal, contractual, and moral obligations to our customers and partners to secure their data and protect against threats. Application Security Project Managers are motivated individuals with a background in project management, data analysis, and process oversight who enable application security to defend our applications.

In this role you’ll:

Common Accountabilities:

• Work using existing procedures or guidelines and provide inputs to support/influence area decisions. Make recommendations on new solutions and propose improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
• Work with a moderate level of guidance and direction from the manager.

Specific Accountabilities:

• Create and execute work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the projects.
• Ensure management of project controls (risks, issues, and dependencies).
• Effectively apply the Amadeus project management methodology and enforce project standards.
• Ensure that the project is managed to budget, time, and quality and that it delivers the benefits anticipated in the business case. Responsible for problem resolution and project success.
• Participate in the preparation of key deliverables:
  • Meeting management: Penetration Test Meetings.
  • Documentation: Project Management Plan including schedule, scope, and process documentation.
  • Communication with stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Coordination of penetration testing activities for both internal and external activities and dissemination of results to stakeholders.

About the ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or any related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in project management roles in technical environments.
• Good English communication skills.
