Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences: 

• Information Security and Governance: Dive into the fundamentals of information security and governance, understanding how they protect our organization and customers

• Information Security Tools: Get familiar with various security tools and technologies used to address security risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Project Assistance: Collaborate with our experienced team members on projects that align with strategic initiatives. Your contributions will help enhance our security posture

• Team Engagement: Participate in team meetings to gain insights into ongoing and evolving work within Information Security. Learn how our team tackles challenges and implements effective solutions

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):

• Junior or Senior status enrolled at University of Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin Madison, or University of Notre Dame

• Qualifying majors in an academic area related to computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, information systems or related to financial services or the insurance industry, such as, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration

• Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry

• A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale

• This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3-4 days a week

• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

The hourly rate for this opportunity is $22.00.
