Network Protocols and Vulnerabilities Analyst

Key Role:

Process and analyze cyber threat intelligence data and compile standard and ad-hoc reports, as needed. Leverage expertise of cyber data and information, analyze and identify data requirements, use specialized tools and services, and develop intelligence products. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in intelligence disciplines, including SIGINT

• Experience with the intelligence community reporting and classification guidance

• Knowledge of SPLUNK

• Ability to query indexed data to acquire information to build reports to support client requirements

• Ability to identify various protocols at every level of the OSI model

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience as a network or systems analyst

• Knowledge of switch and router configuration management

• Ability to create a network diagram using Visio

• Ability to document and report findings while conducting research

• Certified Ethical Hacker, Network+, or A+ Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
