Duration: 6 months
We at Airbus Central Research & Technology pioneer cutting edge technologies for future airborne and spaceborne systems, providing novel functionalities whilst reducing the environmental footprint of Airbus products and services. You will join the team of our researchers working on embedded data processing for avionics systems, sensor applications and secure communication. With your contribution you will make an impact on cutting-edge topics at the intersection of cybersecurity (zero trust) and aerospace for novel secure solutions for Airbus.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Develop and adapt Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) for secure communication technologies relevant to aerospace applications
Conduct research on ZTA tailored to embedded systems, defining innovative architectures for secure communication systems
Performing hands-on implementations and conceptual work equally
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time master student and you are ready to start a master thesis in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
Interest and willingness to deep dive ZTA, aircraft, and cybersecurity related standards
Proficient in software development for prototypes and/or simulations
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, communication systems, and network protocols
