Information System Security Officer

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will directly support USEUCOM by providing cybersecurity support. We are seeking a cybersecurity professional with experience fulfilling customer requirements for system security posture assessment, authorization process execution, and continuous monitoring to work as part of a team. You will work with other team members and USEUCOM personnel to assess information security controls on new and existing systems, work with system owners to resolve or mitigate information security findings, and help maintain security posture of systems or networks.

What You'll Work On: 

• Create and maintain Authorization packages to maintain ATOs for multiple networks of varying classifications.

• Ensure System Administrators maintain necessary 8140 certifications, training, or education based on USEUCOM requirements.

• Review and provide recommendations to the ISSM for hardware, software, and Ports Protocols and Services (PPS) requests.

• Review POA&Ms for closure or extensions based on mission requirements.

• Review AO Risk Acceptance requests for validity and work with requestor on mitigations.

• Coordinate with Security Control Assessor (SCA) for Authorization and Assessment reviews prior to their arrival and during the review.

You Have:  

• 5+ years of experience with information system security support

• Knowledge of the RMF process

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• IAM III Certification such as CISSP, CISM, or GSLC Certification

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience with reviews such as A&A, CCRI, or CORA

• Knowledge of Commercial Solution for Classified (CSfC) Assessment and Authorization process

• Knowledge of ACAS, ESS, Carbon Black, and eMASS

Clearance:  

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
