Cyber Intelligence Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity: 

Are you ready to take an active role in Department of Defense and U.S. Space Force Cyber intelligence? Are you looking for an opportunity to protect critical assets and information from the constant onslaught of cyber-attacks? If you want to sharpen your skills by analyzing systems, vulnerabilities, and threats, you want to be a Cyberspace Intelligence Analyst.

As a senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst on our team, you'll research and synthesize all-source intelligence and network defense event data to develop assessments, identify patterns, and brief decision makers and warfighters. You’ll be responsible for monitoring and analyzing cyber threats using the latest data and state-of-the-art tools, working with a team of all-source analysts and technical experts as they conduct critical support Space Force Mission deltas and their partners in the areas of threat actor assessments, mitigating courses of action, computer network defense, information assurance, information exchange, information sharing efforts, net-centric operations, and command and control communications processes and solutions in support of system operations. You’ll combine threat intelligence, event data, and assessments from recent events and identify patterns to understand attackers’ goals to stop them from succeeding.

You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience with cyber intelligence operations

  • Experience in cyberspace defense operations 

  • Experience analyzing system designs, architectures, and implementations for vulnerabilities, ensuring alignment with mission-critical objectives and compliance standards

  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Cyberspace Operations, including Joint Publications, doctrine, and policy implementation

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint  

  • Ability to apply structured analytical techniques towards in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulate key findings

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • CompTIA Security+ Certification

Nice If You Have:  

  • 12+ years of experience with cyber intelligence operations

  • Experience with Space ISR and Electronic (EW) concepts and employment

  • Experience researching and creating cyber threat actor profiles

  • Knowledge of DoD or IC intelligence tools, databases, systems, and analytic tradecraft standards

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Master’s degree

  • Certified Information systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
