Job Title
Joint Security Operations Center SpecialistWhat does a successful Joint Security Operations Center (JSOC) Specialist do at Fiserv? The Joint Security Operations Center is responsible for monitoring global risks (i.e., natural disasters, utility outages, fires, accidents, etc.) that could pose a threat to Fiserv associates, facilities, operations, and/or clients. Successful specialists can work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to identify and review these risks. Once reviewed, you are tasked with quickly composing situational briefings that meet high level expectations in clarity and conciseness as JSOC reporting is used to aid decision making from senior business and security leaders, facilities management, and senior executives.
What you will do:
- Work in a state-of-the-art Joint Security Operations Center, leveraging industry-leading intelligence tools to proactively support teams across Physical Security, Facilities, Executive Protection, and Geopolitical Affairs.
- Become a subject matter expert on emerging threats and the technology to help identify those threats.
- Monitor and identify global risks that could impact Fiserv interests.
- Provide intelligence to key decision makers across various business units to help drive positive results.
- Help monitor Executive Travel and regular business travel by providing security and safety briefings.
- Actively support incident response and crisis management support.
- Support additional tasks such as reporting on data privacy, fraud, health and safety, and suspicious activity incidents.
- Monitor access to Fiserv facilities as well as various alarm and security systems.
What you will need to have:
- 3-5 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
What would be great to have:
- Veterans, military spouses, or active reserve status.
- Experience using tools such as Everbridge, ArcGIS, or Dataminr.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and Open-Source Intelligence Tools (OSINT).
Important information about this role:
- We are better together. This role is fully on-site.
- The JSOC is a 24/7/365 operations with three, eight-hour shifts Monday-Friday and two, twelve-hour shifts Saturday-Sunday.
- Fiserv maintains cyber and network security teams that assess and mitigate those risks, these are outside the role of the JSOC specialist.
