Who you are:
As an Enterprise Security Engineer, you ensure security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of Frost Bank’s network infrastructure, including firewalls, servers, desktops, Intrusion Detection and Prevention systems, wireless and VPN technologies. You believe in effective communication and will have the opportunity to address potential problems and solutions to complex issues with Integrity, Caring, and Excellence in mind.
What you’ll do:
Conduct the installation, decommission, and maintenance of security applications/tools
Provide support on a rotational 24/7 coverage schedule as assigned
Provide technical direction regarding IT Security standards for infrastructure configuration (servers, routers, desktop hardening and monitoring)
Conduct testing and create recommendations for security technologies and their configuration
Develop and maintain processes/metrics/reporting for cyber security tools
Coordinate security technology activities with various IT departments, consultants, and auditors
Maintain and expand knowledge of security technology’s, threats, and vulnerabilities
Provide guidance and support to members of the security team
Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What you’ll need:
4+ years as a network and/or security engineer in a corporate environment
Technical knowledge and understanding of Cloud, DLP, Vulnerability Scanning, EDR, and IDS/IPS technologies
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Additional Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
CISSP, CISA, GIAC (GSEC, GCIA, etc.)
