JOB SUMMARY:

The position plans and communicates organizational security policies, standards, and best practices to protect sensitive information and safeguard the Company's computer networks, systems and data.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installs and uses software to protect the organization's sensitive information
• Assists computer users with installation or processing of new security products and procedures
• Identifies emerging threats and recommends software and hardware solutions and procedures and security enhancements that neutralize those threats
• Documents, reviews, maintains, and edits security best practices and policies
• Analyzes and enhances security controls throughout the company, its products, and its data stores
• Communicates and collaborates with IT team to maintain equipment and optimize security of system architecture.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Work Experience:

• Typically 8+ years Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• KSAs
• Proficiency
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods
• Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management
• Ability to interpret and use the results of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software
