Are you passionate about cybersecurity and ready to protect critical communications systems? We are seeking a Security Threat Analyst to join our team!

This role is pivotal in safeguarding Tait Communications' corporate IT systems, products, and services against cyber threats.

As a Security Threat Analyst, you will:

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using advanced tools like SIEM platforms.
• Perform in-depth analysis of security logs, network traffic, and vulnerabilities.
• Respond to incidents, coordinate mitigation efforts, and develop security protocols.
• Conduct audits, risk analyses, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and NZISM standards.
• Conduct regular VA scans and conduct security testing across networks, systems, and applications.
• Stay ahead of the latest cybersecurity trends to strengthen our defenses while also promoting a culture of security awareness.

Ō pūkenga - About You

To thrive in this role, you'll need a medium level Security Qualification e.g. Security +, CCNA or Minimum Networking +, CEH, SOC Level 1, and Knowledge of NZISM, NIST, ISO 27001 and CIS

You'll also have:

• Experience with network security, endpoint security technologies, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and threat Intelligence solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
