As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer
to design, implement, manage, and secure our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in networking technologies, cybersecurity principles, and system/network administration. This role will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance of IT infrastructure while mitigating security threats and vulnerabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches.
Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection.
Implement and manage Device management, SSO solution, EAP-TLS/do1x for wired and wireless network, and zero trust infrastructure.
Implement and manage logging (SEIM) and monitoring servers (Zabbix or Nagios or equivalent).
Implement and manage RBAC (Role Based access control) for users and admin access control for critical infrastructure devices.
Implement and manage DHCP, DNS and IPAM solution.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system availability.
Manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure, security configurations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with our hardware, software and development team to troubleshoot the issue with wired/wireless network and able to tweak the configuration based on internal requirement.
Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects and upgrades.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and emerging technologies
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding network and security matters.
Automate the backup of IT Infrastructure/network and firewalls configurations to a centralized repository using tools like Python, Ansible, RANCID, or Git.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network topology, detailed diagrams, runbooks, and maintain a repository for
Infrastructure/network/security documentation using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or Atlassian
Requirements
Hand-on experience building IT Infra/Network/Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and security.
Hands-on experience with network technologies, including Aruba/Cisco/Arista, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba enterprise wireless infrastructure or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and SD-WAN. Proficiency in firewall configuration, VPN setup, and security best practices.
Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and penetration testing tools.
Familiarity with cloud Infrastructure and security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid network environments.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
Scripting and automation experience (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) Relevant certifications preferred (CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent).
