Description
Responsible for the support, installation, maintenance, and retirement of the systems that are at the core of an organization. The services under the responsibility of the Access Control Network Security Specialist are the supporting services that enable delivery of customer -facing IT services.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in the Access Control, Surveillance, and Intercom System industry
- Experience in Network Support and Data Centers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creates a personal connection with customers, acts friendly and respectful with a positive attitude
- Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills
- Is detail-orientated, strong organizational and time management skills
- Works well as a team player
- Willing to travel and to work outside 8:00am – 5:00pm occasionally
- Promotes and practices CAN Community Health, Inc.'s mission and values and follows its policy and procedures
Network Support:
- Supporting the Peplink line of networking equipment including SD-WAN routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and other products
- Providing email and phone support for customers who’re having networking issues
- Troubleshooting a variety of WAN technologies (Cellular, MPLS, Ethernet, Cable, ..)
- Troubleshooting VPN technologies (IPSec, AOVPN, Client VPNs)
- Troubleshooting applications over LANs, WANs, and VPNs (VoIP, IoT/M2M Telemetry, Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS
Security Support:
- Knowledge of Kantech, Axis, is a must
- Knowledge of EntraPass Security Management Software
- Strong knowledge of Azure, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe
- Ability to read blueprints and specification documents.
Secondary Tasks:
Ensures client confidentiality by abiding by HIPAA laws and CAN Community Health Policies and Procedures.
Other duties assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of HIPAA Rules and Regulations.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to research projects.
- Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
- Ability to exercise judgement to solve operational problems where the answer is not apparent.
- Ability to maintain strong attention to detail in high pressure situations.
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.

Requirements
Educational/Professional:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or a closely related field.
Minimum 4+ years IT Operations experience.
Physical Requirements:
LIGHT: Exerts up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Requires expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word, visual and auditory acuity.
