The security world is never standing still – various international and national security standards are created / constantly updated.  In this changing global environment, the Security Compliance Engineer position will help Landis+Gyr to stay compliant via optimizing and operating of various InfoSec tools (e.g., compliance controls, risk mgmt., audit handling, etc.) and create and optimize the InfoSec processes.  Furthermore, the number of Landis+Gyr services and products increases constantly: the existing InfoSec controls and InfoSec processes have to be enhanced and scaled as needed to cover Landis+Gyr products and services available in a global environment. The compliance engineer has full responsibility for the global Landis+Gyr governance, risk management and compliance tools and processes. The employee will be a member of Landis+Gyr global InfoSec team and with that, work in a global environment.
 

Job Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for global governance, risk management and compliance tools, including mapping new compliance frameworks to existing controls, adapt configuration for existing controls, and to create new controls and reports.
•    Document, review, validate, and update global/regional/local controls and procedures.
•    Optimize existing and create new “security request modules” which allows internal employees to raise requests and policy exceptions to the Security Team. 
•    Handle all new security requests and policy exception requests
•    Manage the day-to-day tasks within the information security team, with a focus on compliance and policy exceptions and drive automatization
•    Develop processes to ensure proper visibility and monitoring of security compliance.
•    Operate several cloud security platforms and raise enhancement requests as required.
•    Partner with many different internal parties, including Privacy, Cybersecurity, and IT, to ensure a high level of security being met
 

Required Skills:

•    Deep understanding of compliance methodologies, frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, etc.) and security risk management
•    Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool configuration and usage experiences
•    Task tracking tool configuration experiences (e.g., Microsoft ADO, etc.) 
•    Presentation tool configuration experiences (e.g., PowerBI, etc.)
•    Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
•    Broad information security knowledge.
•    Ability to work independently and within the Team
•    Eager to learn, educate, and keep up with the latest trends in the InfoSec area
•    Good communication skills
•    Adaptability and flexibility
•    Knowledge of a cloud environment (like Google, AWS, Azure) is preferred

 

Required Experience:

•    5+ years’ experience working in or with InfoSec, Security Department, IT department
•    5+ years’ experience with security concepts and practices
•    3+ years’ experience with compliance, risk management and/or audit management tools

Pay is in the range of $94,000 - $146,851 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
