The Information Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily security operations of Dialysis Clinic, Inc. and its subservice organizations, designing and implementing security controls, and coordinating incident response activities. This role partners closely with IT, legal, compliance, and clinical teams to align security strategies with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST), and a proven track record of managing security operations teams.

 

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, on call as needed

 

Compensation: Pay range depending on experience

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Security Operations Management
    • Manage Security Operations and participates in planning and project management.
    • Oversee and manage security projects including design, implementation, and integration of new or upgraded technologies.
    • Monitor the organization’s networks and systems for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.
    • Direct the installation and use of security tools to protect sensitive information.
    • Ensure that IT security audits are conducted periodically or as needed (e.g., when a security breach occurs).
    • Process Improvement and Compliance
    • Strengthen and formalize security processes within the security team and with other supporting teams.
    • Manage, document, and communicate compliance requirements, timelines, and road map to supporting teams and leadership.
    • Develop and direct implementation of security standards and best practices for the organization.
    • Develop and work with supporting teams to design and implement an automated control strategy and exception reporting process.
    • Research and Recommendations
    • Research and stay current with latest security technologies and methodologies, emerging security threats and industry best practices.
    • Manage industry best practice guidance and security hardening guidelines for all DCI and REACH technologies.
    • Recommend security enhancements to management.
    • Collaboration and Communication
    • Coordinate with internal teams to implement security programs.
    • Attend weekly meetings with management to resolve any issues or needs.
    • Administrative Duties
    • Follow documented work schedule policy
    • Take responsibility for one's own development
    • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' technical experience working in IT security operations center and/or related functions such as IT security management and architecture
  • Experience managing teams of 3-10 resources
  • Excellent understanding of broad spectrum of technologies to include operations system, active directory, DNS, Messaging
  • Knowledge of information security, IT infrastructure and systems development
  • Extensive knowledge of networking technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server/Unix server required.

 

Education and/or Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • Professional Security Certification (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CISM) required.
