This is an on-site position that can be located at either our Aurora, CO or King of Prussia, PA locations (OR JUST ONE LOCATION).  In support of work/life balance, many positions are available for a flexible schedule within the pay period.  Ask us about the opportunity for flex scheduling if that’s of interest to you.  We also offer generous relocation benefits for eligible candidates as well as consideration for sign on bonuses consistent with skills and experience levels.

Position Overview:

This position is for an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer.  You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented members at ARKA.  We welcome applicants at varying experience levels. 

Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate is an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer who is a hard charging self-starter that is able to come onto a team and begin to produce quickly.  You should have a strong understanding of IaC, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

• ⁠Experience in Kubernetes administration and deployment, particularly in AWS (EKS)
• Proven experience delivering microservices in Kubernetes-based systems
• Experience with using Helm charts to deploy software to Kubernetes clusters
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud and Kubernetes environments
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, ECR
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with GitLab for building CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, GitHub workflows)
• Experience with container tools (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration
• Strong understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or similar
• ⁠Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
• IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with application and OS level security (i.e., remediating Tenable Nessus scan results)
• Experience with serverless technologies, such as AWS Lambda/ECS or Azure Functions
• Experience in the operational deployment of multi-product baselines and functionality
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual teams 

Pay Range:  $115,000 – $170,000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Location:

This position is based out of ARKA’s King of Prussia, PA campus.  Situated less than an hour outside of Philadelphia and hosting the largest mall on the east coast, King of Prussia offers the urban feel sought in the city, while also giving opportunities to experience the beauty and history found only in Pennsylvania.
