Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We're seeking a dynamic IT Compliance & GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) Specialist to join our global-leading travel management company! This remote position is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make their mark by helping BCD Travel achieve our GRC goals. 

The IT Compliance & GRC Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring our organization meets its strategic goals while mitigating risks. You will be the SME and point person for IT for our audits in Europe, including PCI, GDPR, and TISAX. As an IT Compliance & GRC Specialist, you will

• Demonstrate business value through the use of compliance and certifications
• Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations
• Establish global/regional practices, processes, tools, and technology to create a strategic program for executing and maintaining compliance standards
• Implement and maintain technical solutions that meet our security and compliance policies and requirements
• Ensure our security controls align with industry standards and regulations, including GDPR, PCI, and ISO 27001
• Collaborate with various internal teams, such as IT, legal, and InfoSec, to implement effective governance practices

About you

• Prior experience with compliance certifications and assessor audits
• Extensive experience in IT, development, DevOps, compliance, GRC, or a similar role
• General technical understanding of server, network, and application functionality and interconnectivity
• Proficiency in cybersecurity best practices, industry standards, and regulations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Compliance or security certifications such as CISM or CISSP (preferred)
