We are seeking a talented individual to join our IT Security team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Cluj, Romania.

The Senior Security Architecture Specialist will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining security solutions that align with our business objectives and regulatory requirements.

We will count on you to:

• Designs and documents secure solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements;

• Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance our security posture;

• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices;

• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address potential risks;

• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and other stakeholders on security best practices;

• Reviews, assesses and signoffs on business projects with respect to risk/adherence to security policies, standards, and industry best practices for data protection of Company and client data;

• Create and maintain secure standards and hardening guides for various solutions;

• Drives technical and strategic direction of the Information Security function across all of the company globally;

• Assesses applications and the associated data flow for risk to sensitive data, systems, or infrastructure;

• Collaboratively documents security controls and application access requirements associated with hosted applications and systems;

• Collaborate across all of the company on security designs;

• Design, update, maintain security designs and documentation;

• Provide guidance on how to operationalize or implement designs;

• Seek opportunities to further improve security posture;

What you need to have:

• 6+ years of advanced security architecture experience with large scale implementations spanning multiple business lines distributed globally;

• Deep understanding of a wide variety of technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, IDS/IPS, web application firewalls, Windows (desktop and server), various UNIX platforms, supporting infrastructure applications, cloud security, and other security centric tools;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Ability to succinctly architect and create technical solution documentation.

• Self-starter, work with limited supervision & be able to work well with others in a globally diverse IT environment;

• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST and CIS Controls;
