Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers’ missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between. Providing security engineering and integration services to customers, you’ll develop and execute security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. You’ll also research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and design countermeasures, maintain hardware, software and network firewalls and encryption protocols and administer security policies to control physical and virtual access to systems.

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or equivalent plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of NIST 800-53 rev.5 security controls and the Risk Management Framework. Preferred knowledge of the NASA Continual Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) systems.

  • Managing implementations such as Bigfix, Splunk, and Nessus to track and ensure compliance, applying security engineering principles to complex mission-oriented environments.

  • Very strong knowledge of the following:
    • information security program management and project management principles and techniques
    • server administration and systems engineering theories, concepts, and methods
    • system life cycle management principles, including software security and usability
    • supporting system administrators with system-level and diagnostic information regarding vulnerabilities, configurations, and troubleshooting.

    • network systems management principles, models, methods (e.g., end-to-end systems performance monitoring), and tools
    • security architecture concepts and enterprise architecture reference models
    • guide complex information systems through assessment and authorization (A&A) control gates

    • implementations of technology in support of STIGs, CONOPS, POA&M to maintain security/regulatory and corporate policies/compliance requirements
    • running and reading security scans and act on issues found
    • perform proactive assessments ad testing/validation of controls against self-auditing

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $128,663.00 - USD $147,271.00 /Yr.
