Ethical Hacking Specialist

Your role in a nutshell:

 

The purpose of the Ethical Hacking Specialist is to safeguard the organisation’s digital assets by identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications. This role is critical in ensuring the robustness of our cybersecurity defences and protecting sensitive information from potential threats.

 

What you'll do:

 

• Undertaking penetration testing activities in line with Vodafone’s Security Testing Policy and our rules of engagement.
• Scoping a variety of engagements, from conventional applications through to more complex deployments.
• Penetration testing systems located across the globe, many with complex access requirements that require lateral thinking.
• Delivering high-quality reports that address identified technical concerns and deliver remediation insights
• Supporting cyber incident response activities (including potential after-hours call-out)

 

What you will bring to our team:

 

• A strong cyber security and penetration testing background.
• A curious, detail-oriented mind; who can identify potential threats or vulnerabilities within a system or network, troubleshoot technical problems and issues and able to dentify trends and patterns in reported issues
• The ability to review documentation and policies and highlight gaps identified during testing. 
• Good verbal and written communication skills, able to exchange technical information in relation to penetration testing to others
• A willingness to continue development, knowledge-share with the team and take part in industry events and training courses.
