Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst

Mechanics Bank is currently searching for a Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst to join our team. Here at Mechanics Bank, we value connection, partnership, long term relationships and working together in person. This role will be working on-site at our Irvine location.
The Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst is responsible for the identity and access management for The Bank. This includes, but is not limited to, user account management, responding to and closing requests for addition and removal of access, verifying user access requests, and managing high priority incident response scenarios. Responsible for ensuring that the company's data is kept secure at all times.
What you will do:
Administer user accounts and access privileges in the organization’s identity management systems.
Ensure that the right people have access to the right resources by managing permissions and roles via Role Based Access Control (RBAC) or standards set by application owners.
Handle the day-to-day administration of the IAM systems, including user provisioning and deprovisioning.
Identify and resolve IAM issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Work closely with IT, cybersecurity teams, and business units to gather requirements and implement access controls.
Maintain and update documentation for IAM processes and procedures.
Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
Provide training to new employees on the IAM systems.

Who you are:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+
Ability to work well under pressure and manage critical incidents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Active Directory knowledge
Strong PC related skills. Minimum requirement is demonstrated competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Visio, MS Access, and SQL will be a plus.
Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions and integrations.
Familiarity with audit frameworks, SOX compliance, and regulatory requirements for IAM
Travel required: 10-20%

Pay Range: $25.50 - $38.00 per hour
Final compensation package will be determined by the work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
