JOB POSITION

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst IT Security to join our team.
• This role is crucial in supporting strategies, projects and initiatives, and operational responsibilities to effectively reduce organizational risk and measure progress.
• The Senior Analyst IT Security will work closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, identify security solutions, drive projects, support day to day operational support requirements, and provide clear reporting to leadership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand and analyze cybersecurity requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of security requirements, processes, and procedures.
• Recommend and assist in the implementation of security countermeasures to protect information systems.
• Create and present cybersecurity reports, metrics, and dashboards to leadership for decision-making purposes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Participate in the design and implementation of security-related projects.
• Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security tools and best practices.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and industry standards to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
• Respond to audit evidence requests.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years (4-8+) experience in Information Security, or a related field

EXPERIENCE

• Must have knowledge and understanding of IT risks and security threats. 
• Must be self-motivated, organized, & analytical problem solver. 
• Must be able to work independently and collaborate with the team as required. 
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must demonstrate experience creating executive level communications and presentations.
• Shift Timing – 5.30PM to 2.30PM

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Familiarity with security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and NIST.
• Working knowledge of Power BI with experience creating dashboards and visualizing data
• In-depth understanding of network protocols and operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to proficiently document information, designs, and processes.
• Track and report metrics associated with FIM technology tool – any dashboard tool will be preferred
• Experience in providing analytical reports using tools from MS Office.

Nice to Have

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent.
