Job Description
For an international team, we are looking for a Governance/Compliance Specialist with a technical knowledge who will support the process of a security assessment and governance of Telekom projects.
We are looking for someone who feels confident with technologies, with a general understanding of governance and policies related to security best practices. To support teams by ensuring compliance with security requirements, experience with project assessment and governance is needed. Definition and review of security best practices will be performed regularly. We are looking for someone who will not hesitate to engage in researching how to connect new technology and adapt best practice for our benefit. Getting things done and solving problems with the team are essential to the team culture.
Tasks
- Project reviews and advisory from Security perspective
- Specification and design of security concepts and architecture
- Development of internal security requirements for various platforms
- Development and governance of security tests, including test results evaluation and findings
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology
- Experience with risk and vulnerability management analysis
- Knowledge of various security tools and technologies is imperative for cyber security
- Good understanding of operating systems, networking, and software applications
- Understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts and practices
- Good communication skills and ability to work in multicultural environments
- Drive and commitment to assignments
- Problem-solving attitude and willingness to ask for help
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Be able to work independently
Additional Information
Advantages
- 5+ years of proven history with risk and vulnerability management
- Experience or/and certification in various cybersecurity fields. Certifications: CompTia Sec+; SSCP or CISSP, CISM
- German language
