SUMMARY

As a Senior Technical Curriculum Developer at Wiz, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive curriculum of training courses and hands-on labs tailored to our cutting-edge cloud security platform. This role involves creating technical instructional materials for self-paced and instructor-led training, supporting technical trainers, and occasionally delivering training sessions. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud security will enable you to effectively collaborate with technical subject matter experts, instructional designers, and cross-functional teams to produce impactful learning experiences for employees, partners, and customers.

This is a high-impact role that requires deep technical proficiency, strong instructional design skills, and a passion for enabling others through education.

We are focused on candidates located in the eastern time zone. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Content Development: Create, update, and maintain technical course materials, hands-on labs, and other educational content aligned with Wiz’s platform and services.

• Technical Expertise: Stay current with Wiz’s platform updates and releases, as well as industry trends in cloud security, and translate that knowledge into effective training resources.

• Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, product teams, and instructional designers to ensure technical accuracy and instructional effectiveness.

• Delivery Support: Provide instructor support through the creation of detailed guides, facilitating Train-the-Trainer sessions, and addressing technical inquiries.

• Learner Engagement: Present complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner, adapting content to suit diverse audiences.

• Quality Assurance: Review and refine training materials to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with learning objectives.• Innovation: Identify opportunities to enhance learning through new technologies, methodologies, and tools.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 5+ years of experience in technical curriculum development, instructional design, or technical training delivery.
  • Experience with learning experience development tools such as PowerPoint, Camtasia, Markdown.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS), familiarity with cloud security concepts, including CSPM, CNAPP, Vulnerability management, and Threat Detection.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, and hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD systems.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager) and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Exceptional ability to break down complex technical topics and create engaging, learner-centric content.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fanatical attention to detail.
  • Experience with advanced cloud security features and integrations.

Familiarity with emerging technologies in the cloud and DevOps landscape.

  • Track record of developing training for global or large-scale audiences.
  • Cloud or cybersecurity certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP) preferred.
