Holiday Inn Club Vacations is looking for a curious and eager Cyber Security Analyst to support the Information Assurance program. The analyst will actively work with application administrators to confirm the integration of established security controls. They will also facilitate the capture and reporting of security team metrics using analytical skills. The analyst will be responsible for administering the security awareness training system, tracking training completion, and escalating incomplete users to management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

  • Complete Information Assurance assessments, developing assessment tools and processes, while identifying technology and business risks.
  • Follow established processes to capture and report on Cyber Security metrics and develop and improve those processes.
  • Administer the security awareness training program, schedule monthly phishing simulation campaigns, and track the completion of new-hire awareness training.
  • Additional tasks in support of Risk Management, Configuration Management, and other Cyber Security programs as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent work experience can substitute for the degree.
  • CompTIA Sec+ or similar is required. GSEC, SSCP, ISC Associate, or CySA+ preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of basic security concepts (Security control types, risk management, phishing / scam identification).
  • Conceptual knowledge of a variety of systems and applications (cloud, database, firewall, and operating system types).
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts, including the ability to identify trends and anomalies, and familiarity with graphing types.
  • Clear communication skills are required, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to research, compile, correlate, and reference information.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
