Your Impact:

As ICT Manager – Security & Risk, you will:

• Lead Goodstart’s cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance frameworks
• Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information, particularly Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of children, families, and staff
• Develop and implement robust security policies, lead risk assessments, and manage security operations to protect against evolving cyber threats
• Foster a cyber-aware culture, empowering employees to proactively safeguard data and systems
• Collaborate across the organisation with internal teams, external vendors, and leadership to drive continuous improvement and enhance incident response capabilities
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, strengthening Goodstart’s security posture and business continuity

You’ll bring to the table:

• Minimum of 5 years IT management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in either Information Technology or related field
• Industry Certification – CISSP or CISM (preferred), CompTIA Security+, SSCP
• Demonstrated ability to articulate and present security and risk technology matters at all levels in the organisation – centre staff, Centre Support Office staff, Executives and Board members
• Experience with the Security Operations Centre environments, including SIEM, VM and Incident Response Handling
