Associate Information Security Engineer

The Associate Information Security Engineer assists and collaborates with the planning, design and implementation of security tools and architectures. Performs supervised technical duties in the areas of network security management, identity and access management, incident management, information security program and technology implementations.

Review and advise on network and computer security technologies to identify deviation from documented standards

Collaborate with team members to design, build, and implement new technologies and supporting business processes

Assist with the implementation of the various technologies and security controls of the Information Security Program

Provide recommendations and suggest changes to security technologies to comply with legal, regulatory, and/or contractual requirements

Coordinate schedules and supports in the execution of the implementation plans under the guidance of Senior Information Security Engineers
 
Author and maintain technical documentation including operational runbooks and business processes
 
May participate in the investigation of intrusion incidents and conducts forensic investigations

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

2+ years of hands-on technical information security experience

Intermediate-level knowledge of security principles and technologies

Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the organization and interpret business initiatives

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Ranges: $58,656.00 - $92,328.00
