We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Security Engineer to join our team and contribute to building open, transparent, and secure AI systems. As a crucial member of our security team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding corporate assets by advising, implementing, and operating preventative and reactive security controls while collaborating with teams and stakeholders across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-wide security solutions to support security initiatives.
  • Identify and address internal system vulnerabilities, while adhering to data security best practices.
  • Design and implement appropriate security measures to protect company data assets from unauthorized use, theft, and disclosure.
  • Collaborate with IT to implement and enforce IAM best practices, policies, and procedures, and lead the implementation.
  • Build AI-driven models to enhance security-related tasks, such as data classification and security detection and response.
  • Create innovative monitoring and sharing controls to protect sensitive business data by leveraging data loss prevention (DLP), intelligent group management, and other security measures.
  • Implement forward-thinking models, such as “secure by default” and “zero trust,” to establish sustainable, secure environments for knowledge workers and developers.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Expertise with scaling and securing macOS fleets.
  • Experience with deploying and managing endpoint security solutions.
  • Experience with zero trust frameworks.
  • Experience with identity and access management frameworks and protocols, including SAML, OAUTH, and SCIM.
  • Experience with email security protocols and controls (e.g., SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
  • Intermediate or advanced skills in scripting languages, such as Python or Bash.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Software development experience
  • Experience working with authentication and authorization technologies used for workload identities (OIDC, mTLS, RBAC, certificates, JWT, etc.)
  • Knowledge of modern adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues, independently manage and run projects, and prioritize efforts for reducing risk at an organizational level.

Compensation

We offer competitive compensation, startup equity, health insurance and other competitive benefits. The US base salary range for this full-time position is: $160k - 230k+ equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by location, level and role. Individual compensation will be determined by experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
