Job Description SummaryThe Sr. Director - IT Operations (IT Infrastructure & Security) holds the responsibility for overseeing the end-to-end operations support of IT infrastructure and security services. In this role, they will lead the IT department in defining and supporting the company's IT systems, organization, and infrastructure on a global scale. This encompasses ensuring scalability, efficiency, connectivity, and security for the entire GE Healthcare operations of IT infrastructure. The primary objective of this position is to transform IT into a competitive advantage that actively contributes to the growth and efficiency goals of GE Healthcare.

Job Description

As a Sr. Director - IT Operations (IT Infrastructure & Security), your love of technology will inspire a team of creative problem solvers to find new ways to manage and support our day-to-day business needs and driving operational excellence. Here, you will put your years of solid critical thinking to use, driving strategic change, managing budgets, people, and the innovative technology they create.

In addition to overseeing the operations of our infrastructure, you’ll foster and manage relationships both internally as well as with us manage service providers, and business partners. Using industry best practices, you’ll oversee infrastructure troubleshooting, maintenance, identification, escalation, and resolution of issues. You’ll be responsible for overall team management and mentoring of staff, as needed. Essential Skills:

  • Looking for 12+ Years of experience into Infrastructure and Security Management.

  • Extensive experience in managing network and security operation and large managed service provider.

  • Extensive experience in establishing MSP(Managed services provider) performance measurements,calculate penalties and enforcing contract obligations.

  • Oversee the infrastructure and security managed services operation of the service provider and its entire team.

  • Build and refine operational processes, procedures, governance, and policies.

  • Establishing follow the "SUN" operations model and supporting Global IT Operations.

Role n Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enforce, and monitor MSP SLAs to ensure commitments are met.

  • Utilize ITSM foundations to build and maintain operational excellence.

  • Develop strategies to meet cost efficiencies and budget targets.

  • ·Optimize operations to achieve synergy savings in infrastructure.

  • Coordinate with key ISC stakeholders across various domains (network, data center, server and storage, telecom, identity, NOC, SOC, etc.).

  • Oversee Major Incident Management (MIM) and ensure resilience in global service delivery.

  • Develop and implement a follow-the-sun support model for continuous operations.

  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

  • Demonstrate proven expertise in network architecture, cloud services, and cybersecurity frameworks.

  • Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for infrastructure and security.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT strategies with business objectives.

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud solutions.

  • Implement security protocols and policies to protect data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (Such as NIST, SOX, GXP, FDA, ISO, GDPR etc. ) and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor system performance and security metrics, ensuring proactive maintenance and threat mitigation.

  • Oversee the Infrastructure and Security manage services operation of the manage service provider and its entire team.

  • Build operations processes, procedures, governance, policies.

  • Develop, Enforce and Monitor MSP SLAs and deliver on its commitment.

  • Build operational excellence using ITSM foundation.

  • Build financial acumen to meet the cost efficiencies and budget targets.

  • Optimize and bring synergy savings in the infrastructure operations.

  • Liaison with key ISC stakeholders in network, data center, server and storage, telecom, identity, NOC, SOC etc. domains

  • Oversee MIM (Major incident management) and ensure resilience in delivering global services.

  • Build the follow the sun operations support model.

  • Expert in building operational excellence in IT Infrastructure & Security operations support.

  • Proven expertise in application development and support environment with more than one technology and multiple design techniques

  • Advanced knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.

  • Strong understanding of financial control and budget management

  • Seasoned understanding of risk controls and compliance to departmental and company-wide standards

  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

  • Depth of understanding of 3rd level production support issues and remediation techniques

  • Strengths in gaining consensus amongst executive leadership in disparate groups with different priorities.

  • Ability to manage and drive efforts across several lines of business.

  • Establish governance structure that identifies key performance indicators, sets milestones, and establishes a reporting cadence.

  • Track and monitor SLAs status and metrics to ensure MSPs contractual agreement are met, and internal and external delivery commitments are met.

  • Lead cross-discipline teams to establish an integrated plan to deliver team commitments

  • Ensure ongoing communication of progress against program objectives

  • Proactively identifies and resolves issues and makes recommendations for improvements to existing processes

  • Certifications in ITIL and PMP is a great plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 10 years of related experience
