The Cybersecurity Analyst Intern will assist in monitoring and analyzing data loss prevention alerts, support the development of DLP policies, participate in application security assessments, and collaborate with development teams to integrate secure coding practices and manage vulnerabilities. The candidate will be challenged to “think outside the box” to solve complex security engineering challenges with the chance to help make a significant impact to our organization. This role can be in Malvern PA or Atlanta GA.

Responsibilities:

  • Run vulnerability scans and prioritize security findings for remediation across infrastructure, apps, network, and support in researching risk remediation solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate the remediation of cloud and application security vulnerabilities where possible.
  • Support integrating CI/CD security capabilities into DevOps pipelines to facilitate self-service.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation related to data protection and application security.
  • Assist in implementing security capabilities that align with data protection guidelines and application security best practices.
  • Collaborate with teammates and support implementing & managing security capabilities.
  • As part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity, participate in activities related to compliance requirements, including those relevant to PCI DSS, SOC2, ISO 27001, and SOX.

Requirements:

  • Passion for Cybersecurity and desire to learn.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and basic command-line tools.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including threats, vulnerabilities, network and information security.
  • Experience with python or other scripting languages.
  • Ability to drive results and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines with composure.

Local to Atlanta w/ flex hybrid schedule available
