Join Our Team as a Senior Compliance Partner!

 

Are you a compliance expert with a proven track record in business partnering? Do you have expertise in data, information security, privacy, digital channels and technology? If so, we're looking for someone like you to join our team as a Senior Compliance Partner!

 

You'll play a crucial role in advising and engaging with the business teams responsible for data, information security, digital channels and technology, and across HESTA for privacy.

 

In this role, you'll be a trusted business partner, ensuring our business practices align with compliance requirements. You'll actively update and maintain compliance obligations, support the development and maturity of controls and monitoring processes, mitigate regulatory risks, and oversee and advise on effective compliance breach management.

 

Not only are you a compliance guru, but you also possess strong business acumen and a strategic mindset to tackle big issues. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to engage, influence, and manage multiple stakeholders including CEO & executives. You thrive in a fast-paced, collegiate team environment, adapting readily to constant change with a growth mindset.


About You: 

  • Essential: Strong knowledge of compliance requirements related to data, information security, privacy, digital channels and technology in an APRA regulated organisation (ideally in superannuation funds)
  • Proven experience in compliance roles with a business partnering focus and practical application of compliance frameworks
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulator expectations (e.g. ASIC, APRA, OAIC and ACSC)
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across all levels 
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and deliver sustained progress in a busy and challenging business context
  • Experience in supporting breach management with specialist expertise, including for compliance assessments, root cause analysis, and advising on controls
  • Adept at advising the business on and supporting regulatory change in your areas of expertise
  • Passion for fostering a culture of compliance
