Job Description

  • Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain customer organization information assurance (IA) program that identifies IA requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures.
  • Supervise the customer organization’s IA program.
  • Implement and enforce all Air Force IA policies and procedures using guidance within this instruction and applicable specialized IA publications.
  • Comply with the installation WCSO policy and direction.
  • Ensure all users have the requisite security clearances, supervisory need-to-know authorization, and are aware of their IA responsibilities (via IA training) before being granted access to Air Force information systems according to AFSSI 8522.
  • Ensure all users receive IA refresher training on an annual basis.
  • Develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation for organization-specific systems connected to the Hanscom Network.

Qualifications

6+ years experience in information security.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.  Must be Security+ CE certified.  Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal Cybersecurity Directives and Instructions.  Able to work dynamically and effectively with people on projects (formal and informal) and conduct technical interchanges as required.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
