Rapid Response Senior Network Engineer

GCyber is seeking a Rapid Response Senior Network Engineer, to support a high profile DISA customer. As a Rapid Response Senior Network Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and enhance the network infrastructure.

As a Rapid Response Senior Network Engineer, you will:

• Lead rapid response initiatives to resolve network issues swiftly, ensuring operational integrity across large-scale infrastructure.
• Design, configure, install, and troubleshoot network devices and services, including routers, switches, and virtualization technologies.
• Monitor network performance, implement capacity planning, and develop automation solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure network security and compliance by collaborating with security teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Develop and apply scripting and coding solutions for network threshold events, enhancing automation and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years primary role operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches
• 3+ years primary role designing, architecting routed and switched networks
• 3+ years DoD environment
• IAT Level III certification (i.e., CASP+, CCNP – Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH)  
• One nationally recognized network certification
