Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance is preferred
Work Schedule: Onsite M-F with hybrid flexibility as approved. Occasional travel, up to 10%
Role Overview:
The IT Manager serves as the IT SME for Linchpin Solutions Corporate, overseeing the organization's computer systems, network, and IT staff. They will juggle tasks like strategic planning to ensure technology aligns with business goals, managing IT teams and budgets, implementing and maintaining systems, and keeping everything secure from cyber threats. They will be responsible for both developing corporate IT policy and implementing it daily.
General Skillset
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and individually

- Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed
Specific Skillset
- Strategic Planning: Align IT goals with overall business objectives, identify future tech needs, and make informed decisions to support the company's direction.
- Team Leadership and Development: Supervise IT staff, including recruiting, training, and coaching them, while also setting expectations and evaluating performance.
- Budgeting and Resource Management: Plan and manage IT budgets, allocating resources effectively and demonstrating the value of their tech investments.
- Project Management: Planning, organizing, and executing IT projects, including tasks like resource allocation, managing timelines, assessing risks, and ensuring quality control.
- IT Operations and Support: Oversee daily maintenance, troubleshoot problems, and ensure IT systems function properly.
- Security and Risk Management: Implement and manage security measures to safeguard the organization's IT systems and valuable data.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: They build relationships with vendors to ensure best deals on technology products and services, while also effectively communicating with stakeholders to keep everyone informed about IT initiatives.
Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or cybersecurity is preferred.
- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 5+ Years of Information Technology experience.
- 2+ years of management experience
- 5+ Years of experience with cybersecurity.
- Understanding of current Cybersecurity Standards such as NIST.
- Experience managing a team of IT professionals.
