The opportunity 

 

We currently have a career opportunity for a bilingual Cybersecurity Professional in our Technology Risk team to participate in multiple client engagement teams and related activities. As a member of our team, you'll mostly identify and develop cybersecurity related opportunities, focusing on cybersecurity assessments, for new and existing clients, and deliver and lead cybersecurity client engagements.

 

An important part of your role will be to bring deep cybersecurity proficiency and practical experience with cybersecurity assessments and incident response situations and actively establish internal and external relationships.

 

Your key responsibilities:

 

Client Responsibilities

  • Identifying new business opportunities within the Canadian Market
  • Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to our clients
  • Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability and curiosity to acquire and assimilate to new knowledge
  • Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in cybersecurity capabilities, threats and industry-specific knowledge
  • Be accountable for the budget, delivery and performance of projects to achieve performance objectives
  • Provide leadership and direction up to and including managers across multiple activities
  • Provide deep insight in a function or specialism through analysis and knowledge of best practices to solve complex problems, drive thought leadership and innovation
  • Meet performance objectives and metrics set locally through individual and/or team performance (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development and teaming etc.)

 

People Responsibilities

  • Contribute to people-related initiatives, including development, coaching, recruiting, training and retaining staff
  • Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff
  • Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures


Desired qualifications include:

  • This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally where fluency in French and English is required. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity-related professional standards, current threats, regulatory compliance frameworks and incident response tactics  
  • Possession of the CISSP certification or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in working independently or as part of a large team to delivery Cyber-related services on their own or within large complex projects
  • Undergraduate or masters’ degree preferably in one of the following areas:  Information Security, Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, and/or other related majors
  • Knowledge and 6+ years experience working independently or as part of a large team to delivery Cybersecurity services within the following areas:
    • cybersecurity assessments, response prioritization and road-mapping,
    • network & infrastructure security,
    • cyber transformation, 
    • threat detection,
    • incident response,
    • vulnerability management,
    • security governance,
    • risk and compliance,
    • security architecture,
    • data protection,
    • privacy,
    • security awareness
    • cloud security.
  • Security Clearance is preferred
