The Sr. Cyber Security Associate provides entry level support to the Security Operations Center and reports to the Manager/ Sr. Manager / Director of Cyber Security as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Monitors  all security data coming into the Security Operations Center.   
  • Identify and respond to alerts, triage alerts for escalation to senior security engineers.   
  • Responsible for submitting incident tickets into Service Now for tracking of closed incidents and escalation of incidents that take a senior security engineer to close.   
  • Responsible to master related training provided to enhance their job performance and effectiveness. 
  • The ideal candidate is self-initiating, self-moderating, pays attention to social and individual verbal and non-verbal cues. 
  • Provide Basic expertise in Privileged Access Management, in support of the Cyberark PAM platform.
  • Provide Basic expertise in support of the Cyberark Identity Platform.
  • Will perform in an operational support role, ensuring Business As Usual functions for all Cyberark platforms, PAM and Identity.
  • This individual will lead training initiatives with IT Support, helping to increase awareness of Identity and Access Management, as well as the support of these platforms
  • Will work alongside Principal and Lead Engineer, on initiatives around Privileged Access, and Identity Management.
  • This individual must be competent in their ability to communicate with their team, leaders, and other departments.
  • Can work well within a team setting, and work on projects individually while striving for positive outcomes for Healthfirst.
  • This individual will be offered training opportunities to help continue their growth in Identity and Access Management.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Candidates are currently attending an accredited university or college and have completed 2 years and are in good standing.
  • Independent performer with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • The Sr. Cyber Security Associate is an entry level position requiring 2 years of relevant, related work experience.   
  • Candidate must have good problem-solving skills, ability to learn and apply new skills. 
  • Candidate should have an aptitude for information technology with demonstrated capability.

Hiring Range*:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $64,792 - $87,360

  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $56,306 - $83,200

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
