Engineer with focus on Audit Response - Associate

Purpose Intro

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Role Intro

The Accounting Tribe Domain (AccTD) is looking for an Engineer to coordinate central responses to all sorts of audit topics, a role which provides oversight and impact over a domain operating ~70 IT applications, with engineering teams located in 6 countries across the globe.

The Audit Response Engineer will be at the forefront of building, coordinating, and delivering solutions in response to audit findings. By creating a coordinated response from Engineers, Architects and Domain Leads, the Audit Response Engineer helps creating an environment of technological solutions in compliance with current regulations and policies.

This is a global role, which is part of a broader team and comprises of working with multiple engineering and architecture teams. Our approach follows a timely remediation of all open items and implementing industry leading standards on process controls and procedures to avoid future audit findings in our application landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering solutions in response to Audit findings. Monitor and assure engineering activities are compliant related to RFT Accounting Domain applications.

  • Collaborate with RFT Accounting key stakeholders for Audit engineering initiatives/open tasks, ensuring those are managed and they are timely remediated

  • Implement industry standards process control & documentation to avoid future findings for RFT Accounting landscape.

Skills

  • At least 3 years of working experience in an Engineering domain building or operating IT applications. Experiences in cyber security, application compliance, or IT general controls are a plus.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related university disciplines.

  • Working experience with audits is a plus.

  • Safely communicate on all management levels, from Associate to MD

  • Strong people soft skills: Create awareness, traction, and engagement on sensitive topics in a global agile environment/matrix organization with virtual teams.

  • Documentation of workflows, progress tracking, process controls, and checklists to protect from repetitive non-compliances in our engineering deliverables.

  • Highly proactive individual, strong interest in and ability to dive into new topics. Solution oriented.
