Overview of Chief Information Security Office (CISO):
The Chief Information Security Office (CISO) is home to deeply talented colleagues that work to ensure the safety of Citi's clients', our revenue, our employees and our proprietary data. We manage information security as one end-to end program – one with a clear mandate and accountability. Overview of the Role:
The Business Recovery Coordinator (BRC) & Lead Technical Resiliency Coordinator (TRC) will report to the Cybersecurity CoB, TPM Governance, and Records Management Manager, and is responsible for business recovery coordination and leading technical resiliency coordination for CISO. This role will supports CISO in the implementation and execution of Enterprise Resilience (ER) Policy and Standards as they relate to business continuity management. Will work closely with CISO’s Lead BRC to provide guidance and direction to CISO teams for key Continuity of Business (CoB) deliverables. Additionally, the Senior Technical Resilience & Business Recovery Lead will coordinates and manages CISO’s TRC support required for successful execution of Enterprise Resilience’s (ER’s) initiatives including various types of application reviews. This role will serves as a point of contact for Citi’s Enterprise Resilience organization for CISO and is the first point of escalation for any noncompliance with ER policy. The scope of this role includes responsibilities as Records Management Officer (RMO) for CISO Governance, Controls & Policy, and support of CISO’s Resolution Planning deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and supporting multiple risk and control programs for the organization including defining the strategy, approach, processes, quality, tools and reporting that provide global risk management consistency and excellence.
- Partner with CISO’s Lead BRCs to establish, maintain, and/or complete Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
- Support CISO in the implementation and execution of ER Policy and Standards requirements and other CoB program elements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Citi’s CoB program, providing guidance to CISO stakeholders (i.e., management, application teams) to help ensure compliance with policy and promote understanding of program requirements.
- Ensure risks of noncompliance are reported to the Lead BRC for escalation to application teams and Risk & Control Leads so risks are documented and resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist Lead BRCs with coordination, preparation, and distribution of communications to CISO management when potential CoB events occur.
- Represent CISO at ER’s Data Recovery and TRC meetings and, as needed, provide CISO representation at meetings on behalf of Lead BRCs.
- Oversee CISO’s TRCs by coordinating efforts to support ER’s initiatives, providing guidance and direction to TRCs as needed. Determine TRC assignment for CISO-owned applications newly added to Production.
- Provide senior management with appropriate visibility into CISO’s CoB and Records Management programs.
- Partner with stakeholders including Enterprise Resilience and Data Retention and Information Management to prevent and detect non-compliance issues and promote a culture of compliance.
- Coordinate, implement, and oversee the Records Management program for CISO Governance, Controls & Policy.
- Provide guidance and support to CISO Governance, Controls & Policy for Citi’s Records Management Policy, Standard, and Procedures.
- Support execution of CISO’s Resolution Planning deliverables, interacting with key stakeholders to ensure inputs are provided on a timely basis.
Qualifications:
- 5 -10 years relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls, Compliance, or Enterprise Resilience/Business Continuity Management
- Information security/cyber/technology, project management and governance experience with the proven ability to communicate program requirements to help ensure compliance with policies.
- Experienced at interacting, influencing, and collaborating across all levels and functional areas of the organization.
- Superior organizational skills, with proven ability to successfully manage multiple, concurrent priorities in a pressured environment.
- Demonstrated relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence a group of diverse stakeholders and drive accountability and ownership with key business partners and process owners.
- Detail oriented, with proven ability to question and identify opportunities within existing processes and business practices by leveraging previous experiences and knowledge.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated experience/skill in communicating with various levels of business leadership.
- Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with risk and management reporting concepts, as well as metrics and reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, intermediate Excel skills (e.g. macros, pivots)
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master's degree in technology, business, or related discipline
- Risk Management, Cybersecurity, and/or Business Continuity certifications are a plus (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, MBCP)
