Do you have the ability to ensure privacy by design and built in compliance? Then you might be our new colleague.

As our Compliance Analyst, you  will assist in ensuring that our Digital Transformation Program (DTP) adheres to our corporate compliance standards, data privacy and information security regulations – especially regarding: GDPR and the ISO 27000, ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards. To deliver on this, you will collaborate with our Corporate Risk Governance and Corporate Quality functions.

The team you will be part of:

At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join our Data Privacy & Training team – part of Corporate Risk Governance - and report to Manager, Lise Schelde.

In your role with the DTP team, you contribute to the worldwide roll-out of an advanced solution built on the MS Dynamics 365 and Salesforce frameworks, which is designed to improve various business functions in the realms of Commercial, Operations, and Finance, as well as to evolve our Global Business Processes.

We - as a team - are responsible for supporting the program leadership with attaining privacy by design and built-in compliance in  the digital transformation of our Hearing division at GN.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Collaborate with the various teams in the program and product owners to ensure understanding of and adherence to compliance requirements.

  • In collaboration with relevant compliance functions, provide guidance and training to program staff on compliance-related matters.

  • Coordinate with data privacy and corporate quality functions to stay updated on policy changes and ensure program alignment.

  • Collaborate with Corporate Quality Regulatory Affairs to ensure Medical Device Change Management procedures are followed and Regulatory Impact Assessments are conducted as needed

  • Manage and resolve compliance issues and incidents within the program.

  • Report to PMO and Steering Committee on the program compliance standing

We are open to your background and level of experience within Information Security, Quality and Data Privacy, where we imagine that the following will facilitate your thriving in your new role:

  • A higher educational background within Law, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant fields of study.

  • Some years of experience within data privacy or compliance in medical device or pharmaceutical industry, particularly with a focus on IT systems.

  • Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and can prioritize appropriately.

  • A rational approach to thinking with attention to detail.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) are a plus.

  • Project-, and stakeholder management abilities, enabling you to collaborate with diverse teams.

  • A systematic way of handling your assignments, skilled in blending perspectives from diverse inputs to create a comprehensive outline.

  • Communication skills that facilitate clear, concise, and effective messaging.

  • Ability to work in a global and team-oriented environment, by which you are fluent in English both orally and in writing.
