Fortinet is actively seeking a technical product manager to help drive initiatives for FortiRecon Digital Risk Protection, Inicdent Respopnse, Penetration Testing and Red Team services.
FortiRecon is a Digital Risk Protection Service (DRPS), powered by FortiGuard Labs AI-driven Threat Intelligence, provides an outside-the-network view to the risks posed to your enterprise. As an extension to your current enterprise security architecture, FortiRecon lets you see and mitigate three additional areas of risk:
- Digital asset risks (External Attack Surface monitoring)
- Brand-related risks (Brand Protection)
- Dark web and imminent threats (Adversary Centric Intelligence)
The successful candidate will have strong technical background in Digital Risk Prevention Products, including External Attack Service Management (EASM), Brand Protection, Dark Web Research. Other useful areas of experience include Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing and Red/Purple Team Services. Candidates should have a deep understanding of Engineering development cycles, security service offerings, and ability to engage with technical customers & field sales.
As a member of the PM team, the successful candidate will actively engage with Systems Engineering leaders to validate customer requests and prioritize effectively to drive business growth. Additionally, the PM will be an active member of the R&D team, defining functional specifications, breaking down feature requests, managing timelines & deliverables, and bringing new features/products to market.
Experience in Customer and field facing technical roles such as System Engineering or similar is strong plus.
Core Responsibilities:
- To distill customer business problems from internal and external stakeholder needs analysis and feedback.
- To work closely with field teams to define and prioritize development activities to ensure product requirements are captured and execution matches expectations.
- To generate Product Roadmap and communicate as necessary, including both internal and external product evangelism. Work collaboratively with Sales and Engineering to prioritize development.
- To create regular reports to capture priorities from technical, commercial and support arenas to ensure effective allocation of resources and provide the necessary focus on current challenges.
- To provide support to field teams in customer engagements including, but not limited to technology overview, product details, product demos and technical expertise in order to drive product revenue.
- To monitor the competitive landscape and recommend solutions to extend product functionality.
- To write internal and public facing technical documentation.
Skills and Expectations:
2+ years experience working in product management, with security a security product, service or ideally a DRPS solution.
Or
Several years experience in a Systems Engineering or TAC role with subject matter expertise for DRP, IR, Pen Test or Red Team Solutions
- Demonstrate the ability to gather and analyze various data points (qualitative and quantitative) and whittle that information down to the most salient insights for the business.
- Proven effectiveness at delivering impactful presentations/memos to a variety of audiences.
- Proven experience building productive relationships with partners and leaders across the organization.
- Experience with detailed competitive analysis, product pricing and estimation.
- The individual should be able to demonstrate an understanding the general product planning discipline, with previous cross collaboration teamwork experience in working with development engineering, field sales and directly with customers.
- Candidates should have solid organizational skills and be excited about working hard in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Must be a team player and have exceptional communication skills.

- Experience of other adjacent SOC technology areas including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR a plus.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $196,000-$254,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.
Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
