Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team in Springfield, Virginia.

CLEARANCE

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (existing clearance required to start)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph

LOCATION

  • Springfield, VA

OVERVIEW

  • The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) ensures the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for specific information systems, including:
    • Wide Area Networks (WANs)
    • Local Area Networks (LANs)
    • Cross Domain Solutions (CDSs)
    • Standalone systems
  • Developing and updating system security plans
  • Managing and controlling changes to specific systems and assessing their security impact
  • Incident handling
  • Developing information system security documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Providing Risk Management Framework (RMF) products documenting system security compliance
  • Delivering annual Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) reports and metrics as defined by the COR’s CIO

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Security (INFOSEC) operations and/or Cybersecurity-related support
  • Shall meet the Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Systems Security Analyst (461) Intermediate Level for SECNAV M-5239.2 compliance (See Navy Cool Website)
  • Certifications (one or more of the following):
    • Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
    • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
    • CompTIA Security+ ce
    • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

NICE TO HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) within the Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and/or Federal Systems community
  • 1+ years of experience using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) products
  • 1+ years of experience using vulnerability scanning products
  • OS/CE certification for:
    • Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012/2016 or newer
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
