IT Security (Logical & Physical) Internship

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to:

• To manage the asset register for the security department.

• To ensure that Vulnerabilities to the systems are remediated.

• To check and verify patch management to the systems is conducted.

• To ensure that the site is PCI Compliant.

• Work in collaboration with security officers for site compliance.

• To ensure that the physical security systems are running optimally.

• To conduct checks on physical security in compliance with PCI.

• To conduct IT system checks for compliance with PCI.

• To manage, monitor and track the compliance dashboard.

• Help coordinate departmental audits on PCI compliance.

• To ensure that the departmental documents are reviewed and kept up-to-date.

• To coordinate and conduct security department trainings and inductions.

 PROFESSIONAL ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

• Diploma in IT or similar qualification.

 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1-2 years of proven IT security working experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong documentation skills.

• Ability to support customers / functions / management.

• Willingness to work in flexible working time models.

• Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.

• Keep strict confidentiality.
