Cyber Security Specialist

Key Role:

Processes and analyzes cyber threat intelligence data, and compiles standard and ad-hoc reports as needed. Leverages expertise of cyber data and information, analyzes and identifies data requirements, uses specialized tools and services, and develops intelligence products. Applies advanced , extensive, technical, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity SME providing privacy and cybersecurity risk management

• Experience providing lifecycle risk management to determine and manage residual cybersecurity risk created by vulnerabilities and threats associated with objectives in the military, intelligence, and business operations

• Experience enabling portfolio transformation by providing cybersecurity support to rationalize, consolidate, modernize, and migrate capabilities to Cloud Infrastructure

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• CompTIA Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements in a DoD environment, including FISMA and the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996

• Experience supporting organization system security, architecture, Information Assurance, and RMF policy in a DoD environment

• Experience analyzing information systems security certification and RMF documents for compliance with all applicable laws and standards in a DoD environment

• Experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support System (eMASS) database

• Experience with Army IT, IA, and Cybersecurity

• Top Secret clearance

• CISSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
