Cryptography Engineering 1

Within IDEMIA, the Smart Identity Business Unit leverages the power of cryptographic and biometric technologies to unlock a unique and reliable identity for everyone.

Purpose

This role is responsible for designing, developing and testing security systems using crypto algorithms to protect sensitive data.

Key Missions

Develops crypto algorithms in line with security protocol for customers’ needs

Identifies any weakness in existing cryptography systems and products to reach a high level of security

Tests cryptology theories in practice according to customers’ needs

Develops and upgrades testing tools to validate crypto algorithms

Develops and tests software attacks and counter-measures to improve product or solution security

Supports Research and Development during projects design and development and delivers crypto expertise

Performs technologies watch, proposes state-of-the-art crypto solutions and designs new crypto protocols for innovative projects

Promotes advanced research results in scientific conferences and workshops

Patents new solutions to protect our know-how

Develops crypto algorithms

Performs security tests with guidance

Participates to working group on innovative projects
