We are looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our newly formed Secure Operations & Data Solutions team. As a Security Specialist, you will be at the heart of our mission to provide security expertise in various specialty domains, including applications, information security, cloud security, compliance, end-user security, and vulnerability management. Your role is crucial in supporting the Fortum Consumer Solutions business by providing security services, guidance, and instructions. The role has common shared responsibilities described in the accountability, but execution depends on the domain, such as cloud, EUS, applications, IAM, OT, etc.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Help people with their IT/OT/IAM cyber security problems
- Collaborate with IT staff to ensure secure configuration of hardware and software
- Advocate and provide expert advice on all aspects of Cyber security
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of security arrangements and report to key stakeholders
- Respond to security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies
- Educate employees on security best practices and conduct training sessions
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Security Specialist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, NIS2)
- Experience with cloud security and securing virtual environments
- Familiarity with incident response and disaster recovery planning
