What You'll Work On:
Lead and support the integration of cybersecurity into systems engineering processes, ensuring security is considered throughout the system lifecycle.
Lead the flow of cybersecurity engineering requirements from stakeholder requirements, through top-level requirements, all the way down to implementable cybersecurity requirements.
Lead and manage all events that align with the systems engineering V-model, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all phases from concept to deployment, including requirements definition, design reviews, integration, verification and validation (V&V), test readiness reviews, and production readiness reviews.
Perform system engineering tasks related to the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, verification, and validation.
Collaborate with systems engineering teams to develop and implement cybersecurity requirements and ensure compliance with DoD directives.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
Provide expertise in the development and maintenance of security architectures and frameworks.
Support the development and execution of test plans and procedures to validate system security requirements.
Engage with stakeholders to identify and roadmap new cybersecurity capabilities and enhancements.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with engineering architecture and the systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
5+ years of experience with requirements identification, engaging with stakeholders, and road mapping new capabilities
5+ years of experience with analyzing technical and policy documentation for DoD organizations and implementing DoD directives
Experience with Security Requirements Guide (SRG) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements
Experience with researching, analyzing, installing, and testing security updates and patches, troubleshooting issues, and reporting findings
Knowledge of systems architecture, systems engineering, interoperability, and digitalization of information technology
Ability to work individually and on a collaborative team, to investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications or technologies and require involvement from technical personnel across multiple organizations
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoD 8140 IAT II Certification, including CompTIA Security+
Nice If You Have:
Experience with network and host-based IDS, IPS, firewall, proxy, and SIEM systems, including configuring and analyzing network defense systems, performing host, network, and log analysis, using network tools such as Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, Active Directory, Web Proxies, SIEMs, Email security, Vulnerability Assessment tools, and implementing Defense in Depth principles and practices

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
