About the role

We are looking for an Associate Analyst to join the Data team at Nominet. The role will support the business by providing ad-hoc data and statistical analysis, BI dashboards and automated reports, and will carry out data analyst tasks to support business decisions and data deliverables as part of corporate/key business projects.

About you and your experience:

• Able to explain statistical and analytical approaches to others in an understandable way.
• Able to work with others (business stakeholders, data engineers) to achieve goals
• Requires a firm numeric grounding from an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience plus significant work experience in an analytical role typically 2 years or more.
• Dependent on nature of roles would be expected to have knowledge of the following:
• Relevant programming skills (such as SQL, Python, R)
• Analytical techniques (data manipulation, data visualisation, data cleansing)
• BI/Visualisation tool (such as PowerBI, Tableau, Python)
• Business knowledge relevant to the role
